È quasi dicembre nel bosco di Selvabbacche e tutti gli animaletti stanno ultimando I preparativi per il letargo invernale… o meglio, tutti, tranne uno!
Lucas lo scoiattolo passa il suo tempo a giocare e non ha mai voglia di lavorare, ma l'inverno è alle porte e prima che se ne renda conto iniziano a cadere i primi fiocchi di neve.
Il giovane scoiattolo deve inventarsi qualcosa per prepararsi al letargo in tempo… ci riuscirà?
Una cosa è sicura, non sarà da solo, Maria e il pettirosso Cip sono pronti a dargli una mano, ma questa volta Lucas dovrà impegnarsi molto… una storia che parla di come sia importante prenderci le nostre responsabilità; è giusto divertirsi ma senza dimenticare che anche impegnarsi e dare il meglio di sé è necessario.
